Incoming student interns on Friday, June 12 were welcomed to the 2015 summer program with lunch and a tour of Taughannock Falls. The outing gave students opportunities to socialize, learn what recreation Ithaca has to offer, and relax in the beautiful atmosphere, surrounded by the beauty of the water, hills, and woodlands.

The Division of Financial Affairs, Cornell Information Technologies, and Human Resources hosted the outing, which included games such as Kan Jam and Frisbee, a walking tour of the falls, and a picnic lunch provided by Panera Bread. With the temperature reaching near 90 that day, some students chose to cool off by walking through Taughannock Creek to the falls.

Staff members from the university treasurer’s office and human resources were on hand to guide the students.

Photos of the outing are available on Flickr.
