Another diversity training cycle concluded in mid-April, and the Alliance for Diversity and Inclusion (ADI) thanks everyone who participated in this year’s training events! There was a broader range of articles, videos, and facilitated sessions, going from 17 offerings last year to 33 this year. The goal was to offer insightful information on a variety of diversity topics, in several different formats to accommodate different learning preferences, and provide the opportunity for dialogue around subjects not frequently engaged in our workplaces.
There are about 570 constituents in ADI community, and the ADI committee has set a goal of enhancing the coming year’s training for them based on feedback provided this year. Registration will be conducted through the university’s new training system, CULearn, and should make it easier for individuals to track their participation.
Stay tuned for more details, as analysis of this year’s feedback progresses. Again, everyone’s efforts this year to make training a successful endeavor are greatly appreciated!
