Once again, students are invited to apply for Cornell diverse student summer internships! The program, sponsored by Cornell’s Alliance for Diversity and Inclusion, has opportunities for more than twenty interns, ranging from retail project management to finance, from data analysis to web design, and from IT security to business intelligence, with many other disciplines available. (See below for details.)
Interns network and gain skills through hands-on learning they carry to their further studies and career. During the internship, they make a positive contribution to the Cornell community, enhance their workplace professional skills, and fully participate in their intern workplace during normal office hours.
Weekly lunch-provided meetings include presentations from Cornell leadership and senior staff as well as conversation with fellow interns. In addition to attending these events, interns are expected to engage in learning about Cornell departments and staff roles, and provide their perspective on the subjects presented. At the end of the summer, interns will deliver presentations highlighting what they’ve learned to senior leadership.
