Black History Month 2022: “Celebration Conversations: Blackness within Cornell Health”

Blackness at Cornell Health - Celebration Conversations - Feb. 18, 2022 @ 1:00pm ETFebruary is Black History Month, and this year’s theme is Black Health and Wellness. How incredible and timely that a panel of esteemed Cornell Health colleagues will be sharing for our February Celebration Conversation!

Please join us (and feel free to share broadly with your colleges and units) on Friday, February 18th at 1:00pm ET for this conversation to engage in Black purposeful storytelling for the entire Cornell community.

Black people come in different shades of beauty connected with other identities. Black employees from Cornell Health will share their individual stories: enchanting conversations about Health and well-being from a black perspective. Come listen to black professionals celebrate themselves and their black colleagues in Cornell Health. Understanding black stories can dissolve interpersonal barriers and help show the many layers, dimensions and experiences about black people we otherwise would not know. Let us create an intentional connection as we bring people together to provide an environment where black people belong by telling their stories.
